The company planning a larger foothold in Britain
Emerging technology distributor Spectrami is to open a new UK office to manage its EMEA operations, as it seeks to connect more resellers with new vendors across Europe.
Following its earlier expansion into the region, the independent UK arm of the business will act as an extension of vendor partners, allowing resellers to connect with those offering the latest technologies that their customers demand.
The move will also help vendors looking to break into the European market, Spectrami says, with its Vendor Extension Model (VEM) delivering expert representation to those that would otherwise lack the resources to tackle the region independently.
“The cloud and emerging technologies have changed the dynamics when it comes to delivering IT,” said Sean Fane, new managing director of Spectrami UK. “Traditional sales models for products and services are becoming obsolete. At Spectrami UK, we embrace the cloud, hybrid-cloud and orchestrating the way in which organisations should adopt these exciting IT models.”
By forming a detailed understanding of the vendor and their technology, strategies and markets, Spectrami UK acts as a direct representative of the business, providing the necessary support for resellers without vendors requiring the huge expertise and investment that would otherwise be needed.
“Our aim is to provide the intimate relationship and support both resellers and vendors need: curating technology offerings that resellers can provide to their customers, and helping vendors extend their presence into new markets,” Fane added.
“The new look Spectrami UK is ready to put resellers in-touch with the next generation of technologies that will transform their customers IT services delivery.”
Since its inception as a Value-Added Distributor (VAD) in the UAE, Spectrami has accumulated more than 100 channel partners, serving more than 2,000 customers over 47 countries and is already working with vendor partners such as AppViewX, Datera, illapa and Peer Software
